Nature does not need us. <\/strong>But we need nature to live. The agricultural sector is key to the state of ecosystems and biodiversity in Europe. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

EU agriculture<\/strong> produces food and many renewable raw materials. However, it does not contribute to climate protection and also destroys biodiversity. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

According to the European Council<\/strong>, our food security is already at risk because \u201cimpoverished soils and damaged agricultural ecosystems have limited capacity to produce food.\u201d This is \u201ca direct consequence of current management practices,\u201d says the EU Commission.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

nature solidarity<\/strong> works for an EU agricultural sector that operates in an environmentally sound, biodiversity-friendly, climate-friendly, and animal-friendly manner, supplies 450 million EU citizens with healthy and affordable food, and enables farmers to earn a good income.
